A Sweet Surprise Proposal :: Brooklyn Engagement Photography
I've been photographing lots and lots lately, and I have a huge backlog of posts to make. One of them, a sweet surprise proposal took place last Sunday at the Garden of the River Cafe. Technically for this, I was supposed to be incognito, but the challenge was that garden area was somewhat intimate and quiet. Luckily, I met a very cute couple from Madrid who chatted with me, so I wouldnt stand out while I snapped pics (their pic is at the end of this post). We had a lovely conversation about pizza and med school while I snapped away.
Proposals are always v special because the emotions are completely raw - pure happiness + lots of light! In chronological order:

Gorgeous Day in the Central Park | Portrait Photography
Fall is my favorite season, and October is my favorite month. I was so fortunate to have had the chance to photograph Andrew and Louise in the park. It's nice to explore the park on a weekday afternoon when it's not that crowded! Just a few photographs from their session:

Claire's Dol :: Birthday Party Photography
A lil boy came up to me at this party and decided to tell me that this was THE BEST birthday party he had ever attended because they had cookies ... and not just cupcakes. Earlier this month, cute Claire celebrated her dol with friends and family at Fleming's in Edgewater. The purpled themed super well planned party was complete with lots of sweet edibles (just see below!) - and it turned out to be a great birthday where there seemed to be something for everyone even at a steak house!
