Family Portraits and First Communion Party

I got v lucky on Saturday, bc the family wanted an early family photosession near their home - the weather was perfect.  Everyone was prettily dressed up to celebrate Michael's first communion at Epiphany, a Catholic Church in Gramercy.  Following first communion, all gathered at Moran's on the westside to celebrate; the venue was spacious enough for kids to roam around and for adults to drink and eat, and mix and mingle.

Though the adults were more excited about the family portraits than the children, by the time the party began in the afternoon, the kids joyfully played with their toys.

Evan Tot Tot

My one and only nephew Evan is 1 year 8 months + a few weeks old, and he's very good at focusing on the camera (he's a pro bc his mommay takes so many pics of him, that he loves previewing the images, and smiling when he sees his happy face on the screen).  He's a cute lil bundle, and I can safely say I've never seen a kid who gets so much joy from push so many buttons.  Also, despite what RMY says, I dont think he calls or refers to me as "Bobo."

Fall Family Photos in Whitman (preview)

Teaser pics below - I'm not even a third done, but I wanted to share a few images from Monday's photosession in Whitman, MA. Isnt this an incredibly photogenic family?  At one point, in the beginning, it looked like an individual 2 year old was about to get his own photosession.

In any case, they were so fun to work with (lots of laughter), and all had beautiful smiles -
