On Saturday morning, Chef Cindy Walt, offered my friends a cooking class. On the menu was:
- Grilled polenta w portabello, smoked mozzarella and tapenade on roasted tomato sauce
- Fennel and japanese pear salad w/ lemon and extra virgin olive oil
- Fennel and japanese pear salad w/ lemon and extra virgin olive oil
- Strawberries w/fresh whipped cream
I was impressed with her strength as she singlehandedly carried all the groceries from Whole Foods. And she was so considerate as to bring us cheese, baguette and grapes to munch on. Everyone had a great time and afterwards, we lounged on the couch and watched Rudy, while sipping on chai.
