On Thursday, February 3rd, Dance to Unite, a nonprofit that offers free dance classes to inner city youths had a special event - with a guest speaker presenting on Islamic Art. The event took place in a warm auditorium in the Lower East Side, and was filled with lots of kids ready to learn about art and dance. At one pt, the energetic kids even had the chance to go on stage, and learn a few moves ... everyone wanted to go on stage, but the number allowed was unfortunately limited to stage capacity.
