A Forest Wedding in San Francisco (Stern Grove Park)

One of the weddings that I've been looking forward to photographing for awhile took place on June 18th. I love outdoor weddings in a natural setting, and was so excited to photograph in the forest in San Francisco.  Kathleen and Adam married in Stern Grove park.  The place was complete with a pond, yellow cottage and lots and lots of tall redwood trees.  Wedding colors of blue, white and black filled the day and it was so pretty to admire all the DIY decorative pieces.

College Sweeties from Ireland :: New York City Hall Wedding Photography

On Friday, I photographed Louise and Kieran's sweet city hall wedding.  Theyre college sweethearts from Ireland - and decided to marry in New York (it's apparently less hassle to do it here than in Ireland where you would have to take off a Tuesday etc.)  Despite a few hurdles in the morning (the subway I was on had smoke and everyone had to evacuate!), the session turned out smoothly and we shot portraits nearby and in Grand Central.  They have such a couplely look that on the day prior when they were walking aimlessly around city hall, an local immediately gave them directions to city hall (knowing they were in search of it  to marry!).
