Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving 2009 ... made and ate a lot of food (including a chocolate avocado mousse), saw friends (Sarah and Saad both in town) and even made a quick stop in Jersey .. and Bud also called from Quantico!  He sounded so tired - cannot wait to see him soon.   Aaron was so kind as to host us ... and he even let me play the keyboard.   Love the 50mm - I'm so lucky to have with a full frame sensor! Another Pizza Night

We had another pizza night at Casa Patel ... and just like last time, the pizza turned out quite well.  I made a pumpkin and pear soup on the side topped some crostinis with sweet and saltiness (cheddar apples, pear gorgonzola, jam gorgonzola, apple butter blue cheese).  Here's how it turned out, can't wait for a holiday themed dinner in December!
